Russian Imperial Stout - 5 gallon extract

Ingredients:

6.6# - Northwestern Amber LME

3.3# - Northwestern Extra Light LME

1# - Caramel 60L

1/4# - Black Barley (non malted)

1/4# - Black Malt (patent)

 

2 oz - Galena - 60 min

1/2 oz - Cascade - 10 min

 

1084 Wyeast – Irish Ale (or similar)

 

Procedure:

Steep grains 30 minutes.

Add hops as specified.

Leave in secondary carboy for at least 1 1/2 months.
